Committee Mission

The FLBa Special Needs committee seeks to provide badminton sports training for people with special needs of different ages, targeting youth with mental disability, autism, mental delay, and Down syndrome. Creating opportunities for these groups and enhancing their athletic abilities are the main motives, striving towards social integration and functional independence.

Goals and Focus

The aim is to stimulate their motivation regardless of their age, and help them focus on types of physical activity, especially badminton skills. Following the need and ability assessment, the goal is to develop motor skills, muscle strength and plasticity, sensorimotor compatibility, endurance, and neuromuscular coordination between the limbs and mental connectivity. The focus is to empower and support them in sustainable learning and independent living.
