President’s Note

It is a great honor for me to lead the Lebanese Badminton Federation that not only promotes the sport of badminton but also has the potential to impact lives positively.

As we embark on this exciting journey, I am deeply committed to enhancing the visibility and reach of badminton. It is our collective duty to underscore the significance of sports in cultivating a healthy lifestyle, promoting teamwork, and fostering personal development among individuals of all ages.

One of the primary goals is upholding the principles of fairness and equal play. Our federation commits to create an environment where every participant, regardless of their background, experiences fair and unbiased treatment. This commitment extends to providing equal opportunities for training, competition, and professional development, fostering an atmosphere where talent and dedication are the key determinants of success.

In addition to these goals, we recognize the importance of spreading the game to new horizons. By reaching to communities and regions, we not only grow the sport but also offer individuals the chance to discover the benefits that badminton brings. Spreading the game is an investment in the physical and the mental well-being.

Moreover, we ensure to promote gender equity, and inclusivity within the sport. To achieve gender equity, initiatives will be implemented to ensure equal access to training facilities, coaching, and development programs for both male and female players. By promoting inclusivity, we can ensure that individuals from all backgrounds, and abilities feel welcome and valued within the badminton community.

Operating in areas of constant conflict and struggles, we follow a humanitarian approach, utilizing sports for development and prioritizing assistance for the less fortunate, including those with special needs and disabilities. By leveraging the power of sports, individuals can develop valuable life skills and promote community cohesion despite ongoing struggles. Additionally, addressing the needs of the less fortunate, particularly those with disabilities (physical and mental), reflects a commitment to inclusivity and equity in humanitarian action. This holistic approach aims to foster social inclusion, resilience, and human dignity, ultimately contributing to positive change and reconciliation in conflict-affected areas

Achieving these objectives can only succeed through the collaboration of the entire badminton community, stakeholders, and partners. Together, we can take the sport to new heights and make a lasting impact on the lives of those who engage in badminton.
