The Lebanese Badminton Federation animated a successful 4th edition of MOMS CHALLENGE, on Saturday, March 23rd at Hoops Club on the occasion of Mother’s Day. This event featured entertainment and fun activities under the supervision of the Women and Humanitarian Committee in federation, and began with a speech from the Federation President Mr. Jassem Kanso, who praised the efforts of all the federation members for their contribution to the organization of the MOMS CHALLENGE.
Meanwhile, the Vice-President and Head of Women and Humanitarian Committee Mrs. Rola Mazjzoub Kabbani delivered a speech about the inspiration behind the MOMS CHALLENGE, emphasizing on the success in applying the Women quota in the Federation, and thanking all the mothers for attending the event. Moreover, the Lebanese Federation honored the Shooting Champion Cynthia Yaacoub for her efforts in promoting gender equality and women empowerment in sports, along with her dedication to becoming an inspirational story for all women in sports.
Following an announcement by the Lebanese Federation President to launch the MOMS Challenge, the fun activities and entertaining games began and witnessed a high level of enthusiasm, excitement and family spirit from the mothers, who enjoyed playing together with their children in various games, including the Badminton, under the presence of the Lebanese Badminton Federation members: President and Vice-President of Badminton World Federation (BWF), Jassem Kanso, Vice President and Head of Women and Humanitarian Committee, Mrs. Rola Majzoub Kabbani, General Secretary and Development Officer in Asia, Paul Roukoz, along with the Advisory members Ms. Nicole Choueiry, Head of Schools Committee, and Mrs. Dina Hakim Agha, Head of Special Needs Committee.
At the end, the Federation distributed the medals to all the attendees, including gifts from KADE Lebanon, the sponsor of this year’s MOMS CHALLENGE, after joyful and enthusiastic moments.
